So, to make this plain sailing to book I came up with a list of affordable Hotels in South Coast Mombasa and without much ado let’s delve in.
1.) Papillon Lagoon Reef.
This was one of the little-known hotels in South Coast Mombasa but when the pandemic struck, it become a darling to domestic tourists.
It had unbeatable prices in the southern Coast and treated tour agents and Tour operators with the dignity and respect they deserve.
We returned the professional gesture by booking our loyal clients to this premises. The clients we booked spread the gospel about how Papillon Lagoon Reef was impeccable to friends and relatives and it became an instant hit.
Papillon Lagoon Reef is now one of the most popular and booked hotels in the South Coast Mombasa. Hopefully, they will continue with the same spirit.
The hotel is a beachfront only 40 Meters to the beach and they offer an all-inclusive package. This means 3 Meals a Day, selected beers, wines and spirit, tea all day long at no extra cost.

2.) Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa
I was there recently and they are doing a good job, Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is one of the Hotels in South Coast Mombasa which offer an All-Inclusive Package.
However, since not everybody likes the All-Inclusive, they have made it optional and it is a supplement you pay extra to have.
If you only need Bed and Breakfast, Half Board, or Full Board the choice is yours. The hotel is tucked in one of my favorite beaches, ever clean white fine white sands (The Galu Beach).
Just 10 Kilometers from Ukunda Airstrip (Ideal to fly there) However if you`re on a budget, read how to access this beach resort.
The A.C enabled and spacious rooms have either an enchanting garden view or the stupendous Ocean (One of the cleanest beaches have seen).

3.) The Sands at Chale Island
How about a vacation on an island? Whereby you disconnect with the world but create your own at the Island.
I would like to call it a lover’s paradise, I was there alone, and as much as I like traveling Solo because of the Obvious Reasons.
This one was not Ideal, please go with your partner and it will be a lot more meaningful than being Solo. Better if you’re searching for a honeymoon gateway.
They have a Honeymoon Suite which is secluded from the rest on top of a small Island within an Island whereby you can only access it via a bridge.

I want you to note that Neptune has 3 Resorts in South Coast Mombasa and they are -:

7.) Neptune Palm Beach Boutique Resort & Spa
An all-inclusive Boutique Resort and the most expensive of the three Neptune in South Coast Mombasa. They are all next to each other and one can access the facilities of the other resorts.
The rooms are featured in a stupendous traditional architecture that makes the Boutique stand out from the rest.
Since the southern coast is ever “hot” all the rooms have A.C to regulate the desired room temperature. They also have an enchanting swimming pool and the beach is a stone through from the facility.

This is one of the Hotels in South Coast Mombasa which boasts an amazing Panoramic view of the Indian Ocean.

The beach is a stone throw and has an enchanting swimming pool that overlooks the Indian ocean. Rooms have a coffee-making kettle, A safe, and free toiletry.

9.) Southern Palms Beach Resort
This is an all-inclusive beach Resort in southern Coast Mombasa boasting of 5 Restaurant each serving different cuisines all around the world.
All the rooms have A.C, Satellite TVs and you will have a beautiful view of either the Garden, Pool, or the Indian Ocean.
It all depends on the type of room you choose but note each has different prices. On top of this Southern Palms, Beach Resort has two swimming pools which have bars nearby. You can always have your drink by the pool.

10.) Baobab Beach Resort & Spa
This resort boasts a 3 tier pool that overlooks the Indian Ocean and it is an all-inclusive beach resort in South Coast Mombasa.
It has a Spa Centre and a selection of restaurants; the spacious rooms have Televisions and you either have a pool or the Ocean incredible View from the rooms.
They have different cuisines in their different restaurant from African to other parts of the world.
Baobab Beach Resort & Spa offers water sports in the facility, though at a fee but worth the experience.
Couples relatively rated the establishment favorable.

11.) Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort
This property is tucked in Diani in 38 Acres of vast lush green land. It is a front beach resort that overlooks the Indian Ocean.
Boasting an 18-hole golf course, Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort is one of the hotels in south coast Mombasa with a kids` play club.
A family-friendly resort, as you sip your selected drinks you don’t have to worry about the kids. Casino lovers are not left behind since the resort has one and a bewitching pool that overlooks the Ocean.

12.) Diani Sea Lodge (DSL)
Just like the name suggests, the lodge is tucked in Diani and they do offer an all-inclusive package for their guests.
They also run a pay 3 stay 4 offers periodically especially low season. Diani Sea Lodge is a darling to many domestic and international tourists because of its consistency in good service.
The rooms have Satellite TVs and A.C enabled throughout the day. A coffee-making kettle is also available. You will either have a lush green garden, Enchanting pool, or the Oceanview depending on the type of room you select.
Each has different prices though.
13.) Diani Sea Resort (DSR)
I know it is confusing but they are all different but tucked in Diani under the same Management. The Diani Sea Lodge is a bit pricey than the Resort.
However, this doesn’t mean one is better than the other. This will depend on one’s preferences, I have stayed in both but I couldn’t tear them apart.
You will be in safe hands in either of the two.
Conclusion
These hotels in South Coast Mombasa will offer you an All-Inclusive Package and to be clearer this is what we mean by an All-Inclusive.
The hotels will provide the usual meals, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner but now on top of this, they will add -:
- Alcohol – Selected beers, Wines, and Spirit
- Soft Drinks – Sodas and Water
- Tea – Some offer Tea/Coffee all day long.
